About us

Why BitVersus exists

BitVersus was started for a simple reason: the prop trading industry grew faster than the information available to traders evaluating it. Most content in this space is either published directly by the firms themselves, or by affiliates whose income depends on which firm gets recommended. Neither is positioned to give a genuinely independent view.

Our editorial approach

Every guide on this site is built from publicly available rules documents, firm terms of service, and patterns reported across independent trader communities. Where we describe a specific firm's practice, we cross-check it against the firm's own current published rules rather than relying on older, potentially outdated summaries. Where rules are likely to change over time — which is common in this industry — we say so explicitly rather than presenting a single snapshot as permanent fact.

What we don't do

How the site is updated

Prop firm rules, pricing and payout policies change more often than most financial content. We revisit key guides periodically to reflect current terms, and our News & Updates category specifically tracks industry-wide changes as they're verified.

A note on risk

Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Trading leveraged financial instruments carries a high level of risk. Prop firm challenge fees are generally non-refundable if the evaluation is not passed, and payouts are never guaranteed. Please read our full Legal Notice for details.

Questions, corrections, or a rule change we should know about? Get in touch — we welcome corrections, especially on time-sensitive details like pricing and drawdown rules.
